The strange story!

It was a Halloween night!

I ready to write about this day with exciting.

The source of the story began in twilight,

When I was frightened.

In the window I saw the dark silhouette,

Which started at me with the eyes full of the light.

I was so scared and that

I shouted my Mom with the fright.

She ran into the room and said:

“Oh, sweety, you find our cat!”

But I didn’t understand and that

I looked at the window and saw my cat!

 Put her false teeth in some water

 Hung up her wig to dry

 Put her peg leg in the corner

 Hung her wax ear on the wall

Часы пробили полночь!

Вот Мери, вытянув стеклянный глаз,

Спустилась по ступенькам враз.

Вставную челюсть, бросив в воду

И паричок повесила сушить,

Поставила девчушка в уголок вставную ногу.

                                Не медлила она и с ухом восковым,

                                Повесила его в ряду своих картин.

                               И поглядела Мери на себя

                               «Ну разве это Я?!»  

A Horrible And Mysterious Halloween Night  

       

This is the story of two young boys, John and Bobby. It was Hallowe'en. Children have already prepared at school for a holiday: made suits, learned Halloween poems. Also they have studied the traditions of Halloween and told a scary stories. And when Bobby came home with his friend John, he has  told one more horror event. It was the city legend about an abandoned house, where a ghost of the girl ,which has been killed there, appears at Halloween night. But John considered that it was a funny story. He did not believe it. However Bobby insisted that it is a truth. Then the boys have decided to go there at Halloween night and find out everything. And this day has become! Friends have met at 6 o'clock in the evening in an agreed place. Bobby tried to dissuade his friend to go there, because it is a forbidden house. But John said that  he will go alone.

Bobby could not leave his friend and went with him. Along the way friends were talking and did not notice as they approached the house. And so the most interesting part has begun! Suddenly they heard a rustling in the bushes, the boys started to look around attentively, but nobody was there. They thought that it seemed to them, and came closer to the old house and then the door was slightly opened and the black cat ran out from there. Boys stood rooted to the spot. And suddenly they have heard a terrible roar at the car, which stood near to this house. Boys looked there and saw a witch near a car, a very old and ugly one. John and Bobby quickly ran into the house, shutting the door. But it was not the end! Boys just calmed down and started looking around an abandoned house when they saw Devil's head at the fireside, laughing at them while staring with his big eyes at boys.

Friends ran to the stairs, but there suddenly appeared a ghost! It was arriving to them and sweeping their face. The boys shouted and ran away from there. They stopped only at John’s home. John and Bobby told his mother what horrible things they had seen on this way.But mother just laughed and said that they are moony boys. Let's go together to see them: that witch is only a puppet, your devil's head is nothing more than a carved pumpkin lantern... and haven't you noticed that the ghost was a sheet? Tonight is Halloween!

                                                     Modern Art

Art is based on the fact that it has accumulated for years. It also reflectes the greatness of the centures and its disasters. The art is not just a change of one culture to another, but there is a dialogue between them, according to which it does not reject the new tendency. Art is existing on equal rights with science. 21 century is the century of innovative technologies and discoveries. There are such directions of modern art as street art, avant-gardism, nanoart, kinetic art, classical realism, stuckism, op art, videogame art, VJ art, virtual art and many others.

I want to tell you about such art forms as:

1. Street painting or Madonnari in Itali (also commonly known as pavement art, chalk art, and sidewalk art) is the drawings on the pavement, the works of urban art. Street painting is one of the directions of street art, but it differs from graffiti (classical): “street painting” is made on asphalt (sidewalk), and graffiti (graffiti) – on the walls of buildings, fences and other vertical surfaces. Today this work is called 3d Street Painting, 3D Pavement Art, 3D Chalk Art,3D Illusion, etc.

    The first known street painter in the US is Sidewalk Sam, who began painting in the streets of Boston. Kurt Wenner, an American, began street painting in Rome.  He is a former employee of NASA and 3D artist. Kurt Wenner uses his math skills to create an optical illusion on the streets and sidewalks around the world. His "anamorphic" creations differ high quality and realism.  

    Julian Beever is an English artist who is famous for his art on the pavements of England, France, Germany, USA, Australia and Belgium. Beever gives his drawings an anamorphosis view, his images are drawn in such a way, which gives them three dimensionality, if you will look from the correct angle. The street painter Julian creates his paintings "by sight". It's amazing !!! It should be noted that the artists madonnari`s services are often used by the commercial companies for advertising of their products.  

Purposes of street painting: Street painting affects and reveals the urgent and social problems. It attracts  attention to the various subjects, which have a certain theme and sense. Street painting is a means of legal and illegal advertising. Also street painting helps artists to realize their creative potential and to express their thoughts. The artists try to reach a much broader audience. Street art influences the minds and moods of people. 

2. NanoArt is a new art discipline at the art - science - technology intersections. It features nanolandscapes (molecular and atomic landscapes which are natural structures of matter at molecular and atomic scales) and nanosculptures (structures created by scientists and artists by manipulating matter at molecular and atomic scales using chemical and physical processes). These structures are visualized with research tools. NanoArt is a 3D-art, which passes the atmosphere of the picture through color and size. NanoArt was founded by artist and scientist Cris Orfescu. The purpose is to promote worldwide the NanoArt as a reflection of the technological movement. NanoArt is aimed to raise the public awareness of Nanotechnology and its impact  on our lives.

3. Op art, also known as optical art, is a style of visual art that makes use of optical illusions. Op art works are abstract, with many of the better known pieces made in only black and white. When the viewer looks at them, the impression is given of movement, hidden images, flashing and vibration, patterns, or alternatively, of swelling or warping. Representatives: Victor Vasarely, Yaacov Agam, Josef Albers, Richard Allen, Getulio Alviani and others.

                                           Purpose of Art

Everyone has certain goals in life and every our act is filled by certain sense and has certain purpose. So art can’t be without purposes. There are a lot of varieties of the art purposes. For example:

-         it is an aesthetic and sophisticated pleasure;

-         it is a desire for harmony and beauty;

-         it transfers the ideas of that time, artist`s mood and thoughts, and etc.;

-         it allows us to address to the whole world;

-         it effects on the human soul and the inner world;

-         it inspires and awakes the artist in a man .

To my mind the highest purpose of the art is a humanism and life in harmony.

                                                     What is Art?

Art is a three-dimensional concept. There are many definitions of art, but art does not have a precise definition. Everyone understands it differently. Each person understands it in own way. I have found several definitions of art:

1. Art is the product or process of deliberately arranging items (often with symbolic significance) in a way that influences and affects one or more of the senses, emotions, and intellect. It encompasses a diverse range of human activities, creations, and modes of expression, including music, literature, film, photography, sculpture, and paintings.

2. A good definition of the arts is given by the Free Dictionary as "imaginative, creative, and nonscientific branches of knowledge considered collectively, esp. as studied academically".

3.The singular term art is defined by the Irish Art Encyclopedia as follows: "Art is created when an artist creates a beautiful object, or produces a stimulating experience that is considered by his audience to have artistic merit."

4. The Oxford Dictionaries give us the next definition: “Art is the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power”.

In my view, an art is a world of beauty. I think it is a sensual way of the world perception. Art is a creative reflection of the world. It causes a variety of emotions, it teaches and opens the man`s mind. Art is the human desire for beauty. It is a skill, ability, agility and dexterity. In conclusion, art is a desire and love of beauty.
